High Protein Teriyaki Chicken Fried Rice

Ingredients
- chicken breast 800g
- salt 1 tsp
- pepper 1 tsp
- garlic powder 1 tsp
- cornstarch 2 tsp
- cooking spray
- soy sauce 60ml
- mirin 10ml
- ginger paste 1 tsp
- garlic paste 1 tsp
- honey 3 tbsp
- sesame seeds 1 tbsp
- cornflour 1 tsp
- water 1 tbsp
- day-old cooked white rice 600g
- soy sauce 20ml
- oyster sauce
- white parts of spring onions
- toasted sesame oil 1 tsp
- green parts of spring onion
Method

Cook chicken breast with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and cornstarch on medium-high heat with cooking spray until crispy and tender.

Combine soy sauce, mirin, ginger paste, garlic paste, honey, and sesame seeds to make the teriyaki glaze.

Mix cornflour with water and add to the glaze.

Combine day-old cooked white rice, soy sauce, oyster sauce, white parts of spring onions, and toasted sesame oil to make the fried rice.

Garnish with green parts of spring onion and sesame seeds.

Store for up to 5 days in the fridge.

Reheat by microwaving for 3 minutes partially covered.
